Charles Owen JR8 Helmet with updated features is a safe and elegant equestrian riding helmet for the junior competitor. Charles Owen designed the JR8+ Helmet to offer outstanding protection at an affordable price. The JR8’s design takes its cues from the Charles Owen GR8 helmet and has a sleek nylon harness that makes it the perfect choice for young riders, beginners or the budget conscious. Covered in weather resistant microfiber suede with an adjustable harness, the JR8 Plus offers the popular Charles Owen low profile design at a great price.

The JR8 Helmet has a bonus liner with velcro attachment. The antimicrobial liner infused with silver ions can be easily removed for laundering, keeping the riding helmet fresh and clean. In addition, the Plus version of the JR8 has 2 ventilation keyholes to improve airflow.

PLEASE NOTE: Charles Owen helmets have a significant amount of padding which, over time will compress. Because of this, the Charles Owen Helmets are designed to start off fitting VERY SNUG.
